Continuing the CBMU's 101 Webinar Series with Incoterms 101, presented Isabelle Therrien, Executive Vice President, Head of Cargo, Falvey Insurance Group.
The presentation will cover an overview of Incoterms, the relevant changes and how they are applicable.

A graduate in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal, Isabelle has more than 26 years' experience in insurance.
She started her career as an Underwriting trainee at Chubb in 1997 in their Montreal office, and also worked in their Toronto and New York branches. In 2007, Isabelle joined Falvey Insurance Group in New York City before returning to Canada in 2012. She has held various positions within the organization and in July 2023, was promoted to Executive Vice President, Head of Cargo.
She previously served as the Chair of the International Union of Marine Insurance’s (IUMI) Cargo Committee from 2020 to 2023 and was the President of the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters (CBMU) from 2016 to 2020.
Isabelle is deeply involved in various boards and organizations. She currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Mission to Seafarers Southern Ontario and holds positions on the boards of both the Mission to Seafarers of Southern Ontario and the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters. She is also a member of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Canada.
